Commitment & Region

The Bitburger brewery has been based in Bitburg since 1817. Accordingly, we feel particularly connected to the people in our home region. Our social engagement - be it in the social or cultural field - therefore aims to a large extent at local projects. In 2009, the Bitburger brewery was even awarded the renowned Corporate Citizenship Prize of the State of Rhineland-Palatinate for its commitment to the region.

In addition, we want to give all employees the opportunity to become active themselves and to make their direct environment more human, together with committed project partners. We also want to help keep our home region attractive and worth living.
